Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours, although sometimes this may take a little longer.

UK Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items you are ordering.
Standard UK shipping rates are as follows:
2 Working Days from 0 - 2kg is £6
2 Working Days from 2 to 5kg - £7.95
2 Working Days from 5 to 10kg - £10
2 Working Days from 10kg up > - £15
All services are tracked and you'll receive your tracking detail by email once shipped.
USA International Shipping
We are delighted to ship to our growing community of US clients!
Shipping rates to the USA are as follows:
FedEx - 3 to 5 Business Days from 0 to 2kg - $42.00 USD
FedEx - 3 to 5 Business Days from 2 to 5kg - $48.00 USD
FedEx - 3 to 5 Business Days from 5 to 10kg - $90.00 USD
FedEx - 3 to 5 Business Days from 10 to 15kg - $132.00 USD
FedEx - 3 to 5 Business Days from 15 to 20kg - $170.00 USD
FedEx - 3 to 5 Business Days from 20 to 30kg - $240.00 USD
All USA parcels are shipped DDP, duty and tariffs paid. The price of shipping includes these costs so you have no surprise bills.
Returns from the USA:
If the parcel is refused for delivery or returned, all shipping costs, duties and tariffs will be deducted from the refund you receive.
EU & Rest of the World Shipping
We do not ship internationally to Europe and Rest of the World at this moment, but for large orders we will consider it. Please enquire at hello@lateafternoon.co.uk.
The shipping services we use
We use a variety of trusted shipping partners to get your parcel to you. In the UK, we primarily ship using Royal Mail and FedEx.
For the USA we use Samos, UPS, FedEx and DHL.
All these partners provide tracking and it is the customer's responsibility to check the tracking and organise any communications with the shipping partner. Please check your email for your tracking link, which will be sent to you.
International Customs & Duties
All parcels sent to the USA are shipped duty paid, unless otherwise arranged with us.
Other international parcels may be subject to duties, taxes, customs duties, and / or handling fees by the destination country. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country. The customer is responsible for paying these charges, which may be done through your local customs office.
If left unpaid, or if a customer rejects their item at customs, the shipping cost to return that item to Late Afternoon, will be deducted from the original product price customer refund.
Check your order when it arrives
All items must be checked upon receipt of delivery. Any faults or breakages not immediately reported within 24 hours will be considered wear and tear and we cannot be liable.
Damaged orders
Oh no! If your order has suffered a breakage en route, please take a couple of pictures of the package as it arrived with the broken item within it and send them to us along with a description at hello@lateafternoon.co.uk. Our team will get back to you to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Please do not attempt to fix the item of your own accord or via a third party as this may affect your entitlement to a refund, compensation or reimbursement.
We will cover the delivery cost of the replacement.
General Delivery Terms
Before you submit your order please triple-check that the delivery address is correct, including the postcode.
After placing your order please check the details on you order confirmation and contact us at hello@lateafternoon.co.uk as soon as possible if anything is incorrect.
Please also note that we cannot be held responsible for failure in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to, vehicle breakdown, incorrect delivery information being provided, major roadworks or road closures and force majeure.
Items not received
Please do contact our Customer Service Team at hello@lateafternoon.co.uk if you have not received your order or if you have experienced any issues with your delivery. We will investigate all issues as quickly as possible with our designated courier.
We will be unable to re-send or refund an order that has been lost in transit until the investigation has been resolved with the courier company, as once the package has left our HQ it is no longer under our control. Should an investigation raised with a courier company conclude that their evidence points to the delivery of the parcel, then unfortunately there is nothing further we can do. You are welcome to raise your own dispute with the courier company at any time. You must contact us within 2 weeks of the date you were expecting delivery if it has not arrived, otherwise we will likely be out of the time frame that the courier company is able to hold additional evidence for and as such we will be unable to investigate fully.
Returns are available within 14 days
We hope that you love every order made from us, but if you want to return something, please email us within 14 days of receiving your order at hello@lateafternoon.co.uk.
Items must be sent for return within 14 days of when you receive it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must also be returned in the original packaging.
During the Christmas period, our returns period is extended until the 15th January.
Returns cost
You will be responsible for covering your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of initial shipping will be deducted from your refund.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If you are returning breakable items, please ensure they are packed with very protective packaging, as we cannot be responsible for items that break on their way back to us.
Sale items returns
Unfortunately sale items cannot be returned and refunded.
Bespoke items
Unfortunately bespoke items cannot be refunded unless the items arrives faulty, in which case, contact hello@lateafternoon.co.uk.
Refund confirmation and payment
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
We reserve the right to refuse any returns or exchange request that does not meet the Late Afternoon returns requirements.
For international orders, if an item is returned because a customer refused to pay for any import taxes or customs duties due payable, Late Afternoon will seek to recover from the customer all costs or any fees incurred by Late Afternoon. Please note that if you refuse to pay custom duties upon delivery, a refund will only be issued after the product has been returned to us.
Exchanges
If you want to change a colour, please return the item and make the order again for the new one.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
